It is almost fifty years old and never ceases to fascinate. As famous as a Hollywood star and just as inimitable, Framilon® is the first transparent polyurethane elastic tape and the only one that – thanks to its incredible elastic modulus – follows the body’s movements without ever losing its shape.
We launched this innovation, but for almost half a century practically everyone has been using it: to replace elastic in underwear, make bra straps invisible, keep seams in shape and much, much more. Not surprisingly, it is still a market-leading product.
REINFORCEMENT, AESTHETICS & FIT
Framilon® performs so well that it is practically branded. In seams, it reinforces edges, guarantees a perfect blend of fabrics of different weights and/or elasticity, makes garments pleasant to wear, maintains their shape over time and can even be used as a decoration to become the perfect base for crazy embroidery and inserts.
Does it also make cappuccino? No. But it even fits very light and knitted fabrics.
