Our commitment

Framis Italia's sustainable innovation has rewired the whole business in terms of product and process. The vertical business model allows us to invest in innovation from the very beginning, from the material creation, while increasing the sustainability of the supply chain along each step of our shared value.

Framis Italia's sustainable innovation has rewired the whole business in terms of product and process. The vertical business model allows us to invest in innovation from the very beginning, from the material creation, while increasing the sustainability of the supply chain along each step of our shared value.

For Framis Italia, we have to produce a sustainable material:

Using renewable
energy resources
Our headquarters in Vigano di Gaggiano are already powered up to 50% by solar energy, with certified renewable energy supply up to 100%.
Generating the minimum possible
 waste in the process
We already have a production waste recovery rate that is close to 100%.
It must be created using chemical processes that do not pollute
Our Chemical Management division is implementing the ZDHC Protocol, aligning itself with the stricter regulations for the protection of humans and the environment.
Durable and
fully recyclable
It must be thought of as durable and potentially recyclable at the end of its life to meet the new, fundamental criteria of the circular economy.

To date, we can count several types of sustainable material in our portfolio, from laminated products using recycled fabrics, such as Ecolife and Panarea Eco, to 2-side extruded and solvent-free adhesive tapes (Stretchbond, Smooth, Monoflex, Biflex).
